Dots and Stripes

Tenue cousue de pois et de rayures! Son fil conducteur, pour rester dans la métaphore filée, a été le blanc, commun aux deux imprimés et qui les réunit alors qu'ils pourraient sembler à priori totalement antagonistes. Vous savez que leur mélange ne me fait pas peur, et c'est en revoyant d'abord des images du défilé Burberry été 2014, puis en repérant ces deux pièces chez H&M que l'envie m'est venue de les porter dans le même look. J'aurais pu pousser le vice jusqu'à porter des collants à pois mais j'ai décidé de rester "sobre" et de miser sur la résille! ;) Et voilà le résultat!

Here is an outfit built around spots and stripes! Its guideline is white, which is common with both prints and which unites them even though they could seem totally antagonistic at first sight. You know I'm not shy about mixing them and, it's when I saw pictures from the Burberry Summer 2014 fashion show first, and when I spotted these two garnments at H&M then that the idea of pairing them in the same outfit came to me. I could have gone as far as to wear polka dots tights but I chose to stay "sober" and opt for fishnet instead! ;) And here is the result!
