All Black Double Fringed Outfit with Pops of Red ♥ Je suis Charlie ♥

Point de couleurs vives aujourd'hui, ce billet était programmé cependant l'actualité sanglante et l’ignominieux attentat qui a touché Charlie Hebdo l'ont rendu tristement pertinent... C'est une trêve et un peu de répit que j'accorde à vos pupilles avec ce total look noir. J'ai, pour l'occasion, doublé la dose de franges, ressorti une très vieille veste en jean noir Gianfranco Ferré, chaussé ma troisième paire de bottines inspirées montagne et chapeauté le tout avec cet adorable couvre-chef. C'est un joli compromis qui se situe à mi-chemin entre la capeline et un chapeau plus masculin.

La couleur n'est pas absente pour autant, comme en attestent mon rouge-à lèvres et ma manucure coquelicot. Il m'aura fallu deux années pour apprécier sa couleur à sa juste valeur mais je porte ce rouge de Giorgio Armani régulièrement depuis quelques semaines. C'est finalement un exemple supplémentaire de l'intérêt que l'on peut avoir à conserver les objets. Souvent, leur vrai potentiel ne se révèle que bien après leur achat!

No bright colours today, I had scheduled this post for today but it is sadly relevant given the recent bloodshed and the appalling attack against the weekly newspaper Charlie Hebdo...This all black outfit will give your pupils a well deserved rest and respite. For the occasion I doubled the dose of fringes, digged out this very old Gianfranco Ferré denim jacket, wore my third pair of mountain boots and topped it all with this adorable hat. It's in fact a very nice compromise between a floppy hat and a more masculine one.

There is some colour though as evidenced by my poppy lipstick and manicure. It's taken me two years to fully appreciate its colour, but I've been wearing this Giorgio Armani lipstick on a regular basis for a few weeks now. One more example of why should keep some objects. Often, their true potential won't be revealed until well after their purchase!;
