Floral Suit and the true Chloé Susanna sizing ♥ Tailleur imprimé floral et la vraie façon dont taillent les Susannas de Chloé

Vous les avez déjà vues sur Instagram, c'est leur première aujourd'hui sur le blog: mes Susannas nude. 

Elles sont miennes depuis une quinzaine de jours désormais, et, outre le fait de vous montrer cet autre charmant tailleur Mango, cet article sera l'occasion pour moi d'aborder le problème ô combien épineux de la façon dont elles taillent. 

On lit en effet un peu tout et n'importe quoi à ce propos et, vous faire part de mon expérience vous épargnera probablement la valse hésitation que j'ai subi au moment de la commande... 

Réputées taillant très grand, j'hésitais à les prendre en 38,5 Italien, car les pointures ne sont pas françaises, ce qui corse davantage l'affaire. 

Sur tous les sites on conseille d'adopter une demie-pointure en dessous. Le hic est que chaque pointure italienne correspond à une pointure inférieure par rapport aux tailles françaises... 

Si je suivais ce raisonnement, j'aurais donc dû me porter sur un 38,5, puisque je fais en général un petit 40. 

J'appelle donc Chloé, et on me dit que le 38,5 mesure 27,5 cm. Cela me parait énorme étant donné qu'un 40 mesure 25,5 cm. Au bout de quelques appels, on finit par me dire qu'il est délicat de conseiller une pointure par téléphone, qu'il vaudrait mieux les essayer ( chose impossible dans mon cas ) et qu'en général, les vendeuses Chloé avaient pris ces bottines dans leur taille habituelle française. 

Je me résout donc à commander un 39, c'est la taille que je prends en général pour ce modèle de chaussures, et elles me vont... tout juste! Un 39,5 aurait été plus confortable... 

Conclusion: commandez votre pointure française habituelle, voire une demie-pointure en dessous, mais pas davantage, sinon vous serez à l'étroit. J'ai le pied fin et elles sont vraiment justes. Voilà! J'espère vous avoir aidées si vous êtes sur le point de commander ces beautés.

You've already seen them on my Instagram, but today is their first time on the blog: my nude Susannas. I bought them two weeks ago now and, besides from showing you this other lovely Mango suit, this article will give me the opportunity to deal with the oh so delicate question of  their sizing.

Indeed, you can find lots of constrasting things about this so I hope sharing my experience won't have you hesitating about the size as much as I did...

They are deemed to run big so I initially wanted to buy them in 38,5, Italian size not French size, which make things more complicated.

On all the websites that sell them, you're advised to take half a size below your regular size.

The problem is Italian sizes are already one size down French sizes...

If I had followed this line of reasoning, I should have bought a 38,5, since I normally take a French 40. So I called Chloé and was told the 38,5 measured 27,5 cm. I thought it was huge since a regular 40 is usually about 25,5 cm. After a few calls, they eventually told me that it was tricky to give some advice about their size on the phone and that I'd better try them to be sure - which was totally impossible - and that Chloé shops assistants who had bought them had taken their regular French size.

So I eventually ordered the 39, because it's the shoe size I normally take for boots, and they fit...tight! The 39,5 would have been much more comfortable...

In conclusion, I would recommend you to order your regular French size, or just half a size below at most, otherwise they will be too narrow. I have slim feet and they're really narrow. So here we are! I hope this post will help if you're about to order these beauties.
