Going Green : My Dries Van Noten Booties

Le titre de ce billet est doublement pertinent. Il ne fait, en effet, pas exclusivement référence à la teinte de mon look. J'ai superposé une ancienne robe, très courte, sur ma nouvelle petite merveille de transparence , une véritable championne (en herbe pour rester dans la métaphore filée) de la superposition. Au moment où je vous parle, ces bottines sont sur le chemin du retour afin de subir un petit examen chez mytheresa.com... J'ai constaté que le cuir métallisé, qui fait tout leur charme, se craquèlait à de nombreux endroits. Etant donné que je ne les avais pratiquement pas portées, c'est un défaut qui est rédhibitoire... Surtout pour des Dries Van Noten.... A suivre donc...

The title of this post is doubly relevant. It doesn't just point out to the color of my look. I'm wearing an old short dress from Zara, on my new wonderfully sheer and true budding champion - to keep using the same green metaphor - of layering of a dress. Right now, the booties are on their way back to mytheresa.com for a serious check... I started noticing cracks on the metallic leather I bought them precisely for that gorgeous fabric. Given I had barely worn them, this is an unacceptable flaw... Especially for Dries Van Noten booties... To be continued then...
